SUMMARY:December Re-Opening
DESCRIPTION:The centre reopens for the second time and resumes a limited service to members and our\ncommunity.\nA new sensory room has been created from one of the former PC rooms. A sensory room\nallows members (and sometimes carers and staff!) a place to relax and settle. Or\, perhaps\, the\nopposite with the lighting and sounds and experiences stimulating and cheering. It has\ncertainly been very popular in its embryo stages and will be well used when we are back to\nthe new normal. Funding for equipment has been generously raised by Edward Cooke\, the\nlocal law firm and the local Masonic Lodges. We are grateful to them all.

SUMMARY:Washroom Refurbishment
DESCRIPTION:Through July our 5 washrooms were completely refurbished. This involved new flooring and\nhygienic wall covering\, a second powered changing bench\, a sluice\, new dryers and storage.\nMany thanks to our excellent contractor Mariners and boss Simon and foreman Mo. The\nwashrooms were generously funded by the National Lottery and many local funders.
